Whether you're paying a friend, a contractor, or a business, sending money from your wallet is fast, secure, and easy. Follow the steps below to complete a payment using your preferred method.
Requirements Before Sending
Make sure you:
- Have a verified account
- Have sufficient funds in your wallet or linked funding source
- Know the recipient’s wallet ID, email, or payment link
How to Send Money from Your Wallet
- Log in to your wallet account
- Go to the “Send Money” section
- Choose the method you want to use (Wallet to Wallet, ACH, Send via Email/Phone, Escrow, or Canada options)
Methods of Sending Payment
Wallet-to-Wallet transfers
Fill Out the Required Details:
- Transfer To: Enter the recipient’s Wallet ID, email address, or phone number linked to their Lock Trust Wallet. Once entered, their wallet details will automatically populate.
- Amount: Enter the amount you wish to send.
- Remarks: Optionally include a note or description (e.g., “bill payment” or “allowance”).
- Click “Submit” to complete the transfer.
The funds will be sent instantly to the recipient’s Lock Trust Wallet.
ACH Transfer (3-4 Business Days)
Use ACH transfers to send funds directly to a U.S. bank account. Transfers typically take 3–4 business days.
You’ll be directed to the Beneficiary Bank Account screen, where you can view previously added accounts.
➤ Two Transfer Options
✅ Send to Your Own Bank Account
- Choose “Send to Own” if you are transferring to your own external bank account.
- You can link your bank securely using your Bank Login ID.
- Once linked, click Pay under the Action column, enter the amount, add Remarks, and click Submit.
✅ Send to Someone Else
If the recipient’s bank account is already saved:
- Click Pay under the Action column.
- Review their banking details.
- Enter the Amount and optional Remarks.
- Click Submit to complete the transfer.
If the bank account is not yet added:
- Click Add Beneficiary, then choose “Send to Other”.
- Fill in the required bank details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Account Number
- Type of Account
- Routing Number
- Bank Name
Click Save Bank. After saving, click Pay under the Action column to initiate the transfer.
Email – Phone (instant)
Use this option to instantly send funds to a recipient using their email address or phone number—no wallet ID required.
- Enter the Recipient’s Email Address or Phone Number. Make sure it’s the same contact information linked to their Lock Trust Wallet account.
- Enter Amount
- Enter Remarks. Optionally add a short note or reason for the transfer (e.g., “gift,” “services,” “reimbursement”).
- Click Submit to complete the transfer.
Note: If the recipient is not yet a Lock Trust user, they’ll receive an invitation to sign up and claim the funds.
Escrow Setup
International Payments
When sending money across borders:
- Currency will be converted automatically at market rate + FX margin
- Fees may apply depending on the country, method, and amount
- Recipients may receive funds in their local currency or wallet

Tracking Your Payment
After sending:
- View transaction status under “Transactions” tab
- Choose the type of transaction (Bank, Wallet, Cash) or you can view all transactions
- Statuses include: Pending/Processing, Completed, Failed, or Canceled
- You and the recipient will receive notifications when funds are transferred
Canceling a Payment
- You can only cancel pending payments that haven’t been processed yet
- Go to Transactions > Select Transaction > Cancel
- Once a payment is marked Completed, it cannot be reversed (you’ll need to file a dispute if needed)
