Connecting your Smart POS terminal to a stable internet connection via Wi-Fi or cellular network ensures smooth payment processing. This guide walks you through the steps to connect your device.
Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Power on Your Terminal
- Press and hold the power button until the device turns on.
- Access Network Settings
- From the home screen, tap the Settings icon.
- Select Wi-Fi or Network.
- Choose Your Wi-Fi Network
- The terminal will scan and display available networks.
- Tap your desired Wi-Fi network name.
- Enter Password
- Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Tap Connect.
- Verify Connection
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear at the top of the screen.
- Perform a test transaction or ping test to confirm connectivity.
Connecting via Cellular Network
- Insert SIM Card (If Required)
- Locate the SIM card slot on your terminal.
- Insert an activated SIM card provided by your carrier.
- Enable Cellular Data
- Go to Settings → Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Toggle the cellular data option to On.
- Configure APN Settings (If Needed)
- Enter your carrier’s APN details under cellular settings, if not automatically set.
- Check Signal Strength
