This quick-start guide walks marina merchants through setting up their EMS account with Lock Trust—from profile creation to payment processing and booking setup—so you can launch smoothly and manage operations with ease.
Step 1: Welcome & Account Setup
- Welcome email with login link and brief getting started guide.
- User sets up account credentials (email, password).
- Initial company/marina info form:
- Marina name, location, contact details
- Number of slips, types of services offered (dock rentals, retail, etc.)
Step 2: Marina Profile & Preferences
- Add marina details in the dashboard:
- Slip inventory (number, size, type)
- Operating hours, seasonal schedules
- Tax rates, billing cycles
Step 3: Payment Processing Setup
- Guided setup of payment backend:
- Connect or create merchant account (e.g., via integrated processor or partner)
- Set accepted payment methods (credit cards, ACH, etc.)
- Set default payment fees or pass-through rates (inform about transaction fees)
- Verify banking info for payouts.
Step 4: Import Existing Data
- Upload or import slip reservations, customer info, and historical payments (CSV, Excel, or integration with other software).
